The State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control continues to inform about the development of mobile pharmacy in Ukraine, a new type of retail medicines trade, which significantly improves access to essential medicines for villagers and frontline residents.
Last week, the first mobile pharmacy from the State Enterprise Ukrvaktsyna of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine began its route in the Baryshivska community in the Kyiv region.
On May 21, 2024, a mobile pharmacy owned by FARMAKSO LLC was launched in the Ternopil region.
Also this week, it is planned to launch of two more mobile pharmacies in the Ternopil and Rivne regions.
As a result, from the beginning of the year, mobile pharmacy units have been operating in seven regions of Ukraine:
- 1 mobile pharmacy in the Ternopil region (FARMAKSO LLC);
- 1 mobile pharmacy in the Kyiv region (SE Ukrvaktsyna of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine);
- 2 mobile pharmacy in the Kharkiv region (PHARMACY OF KHARKIV REGION LLC);
- 1 mobile pharmacy in the Mykolaiv Oblast (ENTERPRISE OF THE MYKOLAIV REGIONAL OF THE RED CROSS SOCIETY OF UKRAINE «HOSPITAL OF THE UKRAINIAN RED CROSS»);
- 2 mobile pharmacy in the Cherkasy region (Cherkasy Regional Communal Enterprise "PHARMACY");
- 1 mobile pharmacy in the Odesa region (PJSC PN FARMACIA);
- 1 mobile pharmacy in Chernihiv region (ME LIKY CHERNIHIVSHCHYNY CHERNIHIVSKOYI OBLASNOYI RADY).
The assortment of mobile pharmacies includes the most popular prescription and over-the-counter medicines and medical devices. In addition, the mobile pharmacies sell medicines within the framework of the state reimbursement program «Affordable Medicines».
