According to the President’s Decree of Ukraine No. 562/2025 dated July 30, 2025, the composition of the delegation to participate in the meetings of the European Pharmacopoeia Commission was updated.
The main objectives of Ukraine's participation in the meetings of the European Commission on Pharmacopoeia are to ensure Ukraine's interests in the sphere of development of pharmacopoeia standards for the quality of medicines.
The participation of the Ukrainian delegation in the meetings of the European Commission on Pharmacopoeia will enable domestic regulatory authorities to participate in the development and improvement of European standards for the quality of medicines; strengthen cooperation with European countries in the sphere of medicines and healthcare; exchange knowledge and experience to improve public health; gradually develop the European Pharmacopoeia, which is common to all member states and defines a single set of characteristics and testing methods—official standards for active substances and excipients used in medicines; and ensure further harmonization of the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine with the European Pharmacopoeia.
