Ammendments to some orders of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine have been approved by the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine as of 12.05.2020 № 1106.
According to the point 2 of these Ammendments, the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine as of 12.12.2006 № 818 “On improvement of certification of pharmacists” registered at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on 26.12.2006 № 1366/13240 has to be complemented after the point 2 by the point 3 with the following content:
“3. In 2020 certification in assessment of knowledge and practical skills with following confirmation of speciality of a “pharmacist-expert” and assignment (confirmation) of a qualification category of pharmacists has been postponed for a period of quarantine, set by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as of 11.03.2020 № 211 “On prevention of the spread of COVID-19 acute respiratory disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus”. The validity of qualification certificaties and cetificates of pharmacists that terminates during the period of quarantine set by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with the aim to prevent the spread of acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and 30 days following the cancellation of the quarantine, is extended for one year.
The pharmacists whose validity of qualification certificaties and cetificates of pharmacists terminates during the period of quarantine set by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with the aim to prevent the spread of acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and 30 days following the cancellation of the quarantine should undergo certification during the period of six months following termination of the quarantine”.
Hence the points 3-6 should be considered as points 4-7.
