Under martial law, the SMDC continues to exercise its authority on a daily basis.
Together with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, distributors, representatives of pharmacies, professional associations and public organizations, the range and prices of medicinal products, ways of setting up their supply to pharmacy networks are monitored.
Exchange of information with national and foreign regulatory authorities, international specialized organizations to identify and combat the spread of substandard and falsified medicinal products continues.
An important regulatory decision was to allow to attract candidates for higher, vocational higher education, some other categories of persons to work in pharmaceutical (pharmacy) facilities, other health care facilities for the period of martial law (Ministry of Health Order of 08.03.2022 No.429).
It has been determined that for the period of wartime students and graduates of pharmaceutical educational institutions (electives) who have not yet passed the internship are allowed to work in pharmacies.

Health-care institutions informed in which the license for the right to conduct activities in the field of circulation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors according to the List of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from 06.05.2000 No.770 was expired on 24.02.2022, to be considered as having extended their validity for the period of functioning of the martial law and for 3 months after its completion.
Clarification on the implementation of the State quality control of medicinal products imported into Ukraine have posted, the Procedure of which was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine 14.09.2005 No.902, namely, from 27.02.2002 submission of applications for the issuance of Conclusions for the period of martial law will be carried out in electronic form.
