The SMDC representatives participate in international course on implementation of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) for national pharmaceutical inspectorates.

WHO Regional Office for Europe held a workshop on GDP guidelines and experiences with implementation at national level, an update in the context of the EU-GDP, which took place in Kyiv, Ukraine on September 23-27, 2019.

The WHO Regional Office for Europe developed the workshop agenda for the seminar. According to the agenda, teachers at the Danish College of Pharmakon Tina Brouer and Anders Clausen’s Training Center held a hands-on workshop on the application of EU GDP to distributors’ inspections.

The workshop reviewed the development of the concept of implementing the GDP requirements at national level and the practical implementation of the WHO Member States mechanism on substandard/spurious/falsely labelled/falsified/counterfeit (SSFFC) medical products.

Taken this opportunity, the representatives of the WHO Regional Office for Europe and the Agency of Pharmaceutical Development of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control. During the meeting were discussed the main activities resulting from PIC/S membership.
