Online meeting with representatives of the pharmaceutical regulatory authorities of the Republic of Poland

On March 18, 2025, an online meeting was held between specialists from the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the National Health Service of Ukraine with representatives of pharmaceutical regulatory authorities of the Republic of Poland.

On the Polish side, the event was attended by the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspector and representatives of the Voivodeship Pharmaceutical Inspectorates.

The participants discussed current issues related to the legislative regulation of prescriptions in Ukraine and problems with the circulation of Ukrainian prescriptions in Poland:

– the form and format of prescription blanks allowed for use, the validity of prescriptions;

– the number of medicines allowed to be prescribed, the norms of prescription medicines;

– the list of medicines for which prescriptions are not allowed;

– the details that a paper prescription should contain;

– healthcare professionals authorized to write prescriptions;

– the validity period of prescriptions issued before April 1, 2023.

The parties agreed on further cooperation and collaboration regarding the above-mentioned issues.
