The meeting between the representatives of the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control and the Department of Health of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine

On September 3, 2025, the meeting was held between the representatives of the State Service of Ukraine for Medicines and Drugs Control and the Department of Health of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

The participants discussed extending the Memorandum of Partnership and Cooperation between the State Service for Medicines and Drugs Control and the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, signed on February 21, 2024, in order to further combine efforts to combat the illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and precursors and improve access to pain relief.

The representatives of the Ministry of Defence will continue to work as part of the State Service of Ukraine for Medicines and Drugs Control working group, which is considering granting permissions to military units of using narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and precursors for improving medical care.

Strengthening of the cooperation and coordinated actions between the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control and the Ministry of Defence makes possible the more effective providing of the necessary medicines to our defenders and regulate the circulation of narcotic drugs.
