The official of the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control has received the award “Honored Worker of Pharmacy of Ukraine”

On the occasion of the Pharmacist’s Day of Ukraine the official of the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control Iryna Suvorova has been awarded the state award by the Order of the President of Ukraine №396/2020.

Iryna Suvorova is the Head of the Department for Medicines Quality Control of the Central Office of the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control. Iryna Suvorova coordinates issues on state quality control of medicines and medicinal products imported into Ukraine. Besides, the Department organizes and ensures sampling medicines for the state quality control, prepares decisions (regulations) of the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control on prohibition (termination) of manufacture, distribution, storage and use of medicines that do not correspond to the requirements defined by the legislative framework.

In May 2016 the Government of Ukraine appointed Iryna Suvorova as the Acting Head of the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control.
