The representatives of the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control took part in the training on regulatory activities organised by the Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products (Swissmedic)
Опубліковано 09.06.2025 о 12:52On June 2-6, 2025 the representatives of the SMDC took part in a training course on the regulatory activities organised by the Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products (Swissmedic) with the support of WHO.
The main objective of the training course is to strengthen the capacity of the participating authorities by sharing experience and knowledge on the application of modern methods and procedures in the processes of quality management system (QMS), registration and marketing authorisation (MA) and post-authorisation review (PVL).
The following representatives of the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control have participated in the trainings:
Lyudmyla Horova – Deputy Director of the Department – Head of the Division for Ensuring Interaction with State Authorities, International Organisations, Enterprises and Institutions on Quality Control of Medicines and Blood of the Department of Quality Control of Medicines and Blood;
Volodymyr Chekalin – Head of the Division for State Market Supervision of Medical Devices;
Tetiana Zadorozhna – Deputy Head of the Department for Certification of Medicinal Products Manufacturing, Department of Licensing of Medicinal Products Manufacturing, Blood and Certification.
This course is an important step to enhance the ability to interpret and apply WHO and other international standards in the activities of the regulatory authority, when developing and implementing the good practices for the quality management system, registration of medicines and market surveillance functions, etc.
