The State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control held a webinar with regional authorities

On 26 February 2026, the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control held a webinar with regional authorities of the State Service, chaired by the Acting head of the State Service, Volodymyr Korolenko, with the aim of coordinating approaches to the implementation, application and enforcement of compliance with the new requirements of the Licensing Conditions, which come into force on 3 March to business entities that intend to engage in the retail sale of over-the-counter medicines at petrol stations.

Issues related to the practical application of the updated requirements of the Licensing Conditions, as well as other regulatory and legal acts developed by the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control to ensure their implementation, were discussed during the event.

Particular attention is paid to the issues of conducting pre-licensing inspections of business entities that intend to engage in the retail sale of over-the-counter medicines at petrol stations, and ensuring a uniform practice of their implementation by regional  authorities.

The State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control will continue to coordinate the activities of regional authorities and inform business entities about current changes in the field of medicines circulation.
