The State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control participated in the pharmaceutical forum «Pharmexpert 2024»

On November 21, 2024, an important event was held for the Ukrainian pharmaceutical market – Proxima Research and the State Enterprise «State Expert Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine» organized the forum «Pharmexpert 2024. Standards. Innovations. European Integration».

The forum brought together leading experts of the national pharmaceutical industry, representatives of government agencies, scientists, and heads of medical institutions and pharmaceutical companies.

The event became a powerful media platform for discussing important issues of the Ukrainian healthcare system development and the pharmaceutical industry in particular, as well as the success of its integration into the European space.

The forum was held in various directions: leading experts of the pharmaceutical industry and representatives of state regulatory authorities spoke to the participants, panel discussions were held, and many important issues were discussed in the format of collegial networking.

The State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control was represented by Deputy Head Hennadii Vovk.

During the discussion, Hennadii Vovk informed his colleagues about the work of the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control in the context of recent changes in the industry legal framework, in particular, the resumption of scheduled inspections of pharmaceutical market operators from January 1, 2025 and the preparation of the national pharmaceutical market for the creation of a state control authority, as provided by the new Law of Ukraine «On Medicines».
