United Nations Commission on Narcotic Drugs

The Commission on Narcotic Drugs is the main UN body for cooperation in the fight against crime, illegal production and consumption of drugs, terrorist threats, corruption, and human trafficking.

The Commission meets twice a year in Vienna, Austria. Participation in the activities of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs provides an opportunity to contribute to joint decisions on combating illicit drug trafficking and, at the same time, to ensure access to narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances for medical and scientific purposes.
