International online conference “Integratinghealth technology assessment (HTA) intohealthcare reforms in emerging settings” was held during 08 – 11 September

Officials of the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control participated in the international online conference “Integrating health technology assessment (HTA) into healthcare reforms in emerging settings” that was held during 08 -11 September.

During the conference, such issues were discussed as challenges and opportunities of HTA integration into successful health reforms and importance of HTA in part of taking decisions on access to technologies.

Besides, the topics of HTA of medicines and medicinal products in different countries and improvement of such activity and its prospect were also raised.

Representatives of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, relevant institutions, non-governmental organizations from different countries including representatives of the World Health Organization, Health Technology Assessment international (HTAi) and the International Network of Agencies for Health Technology Assessment (INAHTA).

The conference “Integrating health technology assessment (HTA) into healthcare reforms in emerging settings” was conducted with technical support of SAFEMed USAID project, partner of local experts in implementation and strengthening HTA functioning in Ukraine.
