Officials of the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control Took Part in the Intersessional Meeting of the UN Commission on Narcotics Drugs

On 25 August 2020 the second meeting of UN Commission on Narcotics Drugs was held online. More that 100 countries joined the event including official of Ukraine: State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control, Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Ministry of Internal Affairs, NGO “Dobrobut Pokoloin.”

The following topics were discussed during the meeting: distribution of narcotic drugs, psychoactive substances and rise of drug addicts.

The participants agreed on necessity to receive justification on avoiding potential risks of implementation of WHO recommendations, especially eradication of additional possibility to abuse and distribution of illegal and uncontrolled use of narcotic drugs and complication in state control over such substances in different countries.
