Participation in the meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine
Опубліковано 12.06.2026 о 21:12Volodymyr Korolenko, the Acting Head of the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control, participated in the Ministry of Health of Ukraine’s Board meeting, which was presided over by Viktor Liashko, the Minister of Health of Ukraine.

In the course of the meeting, critical aspects concerning the advancement of the healthcare system were evaluated, and strategic priorities for the forthcoming years were established. The Annual Report on the Health of the Population of Ukraine and the Epidemic Situation for 2025 received approval, indicating that despite the challenges posed by a full-scale war, the healthcare system exhibits resilience and maintains the capacity to deliver high-quality medical services to citizens.

Significant focus was directed towards establishing priorities for the Medical Guarantee Program for 2027. Key areas of emphasis include enhancing support for patients suffering from combat-related injuries, advancing rehabilitation services, addressing mental health concerns, treating cardiovascular and oncological conditions, and broadening the scope of the pharmaceutical reimbursement initiative.

The Roadmap for the implementation of the Strategic Directions for the Development of Nursing in Ukraine for the period 2026-2028 has been officially sanctioned. This constitutes a significant advancement in enhancing the role of nurses, modernizing educational frameworks, advancing professional competencies, and reinforcing the human capital within the healthcare sector.

The implementation of the adopted decisions will contribute to further strengthening the Ukrainian healthcare system, increasing the availability and quality of medical care, as well as creating better conditions for the work of medical workers.
