Working meeting with heads of territorial bodies

On 17 June 2026 a working meeting of the heads of the apparatus units with the heads of the territorial bodies of the SMDC led by Taras Proniv, Deputy Head of the State Service of Ukraine of Medicines and Drugs Control, was held.

The current production issues regarding the problems of state supervision (control) measures were discussed.

Thus, the meeting considered aspects of selection and transport of medicines’ samples during the implementation of planned and unplanned inspections of economic entities to laboratories of territorial bodies of the SMDC.

Consideration was given to ensuring accessibility for individuals with reduced mobility to economic entities’ locations and establishing a unified approach to the implementation of legislative requirements during regulatory activities.

Discussions included the legislative provisions concerning market surveillance of medical devices, alongside practical case studies and relevant case law.
