On September 02, 2024, mobile pharmacy units owned by the State Enterprise Ukrvaktsyna of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine made their first routes in Zhytomyr and Chernihiv regions.

In Zhytomyr region, the route of the mobile pharmacy covers 53 settlements and passes through Olevsk, Narodnytsia and Slovechanska communities.

In the Chernihiv region, the mobile pharmacy will operate through the Sribnyanska, Varvynska, and Talalaivska communities, serving residents of 38 settlements.

Information about the routes of the mobile pharmacy points is constantly updated on the Telegram channel “Mobile Pharmacy ‘TUT'” https://t.me/TUT_apteka. The arrival dates of the mobile pharmacy points are also available at local councils.

Thanks to the work of mobile pharmacy, access to medicines and medical devices is ensured in remote or hard-to-reach areas where there are no stationary pharmacies. Residents of such areas have the opportunity to purchase essential medicines in a timely manner, they do not need to travel long distances to the nearest pharmacies. Also, mobile pharmacies sell medicines within the framework of the state reimbursement program «Affordable Medicines». Mobile pharmacy points are prohibited from selling narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and precursors.
