The meeting of the Ukrainian-Indian Joint Working Group on Pharmacy between Ukraine and the Republic of India was completed

On August 14, 2024, the working group members continued to discuss the issues on the agenda. Maryna Slobodnichenko, Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine, delivered an introductory speech on behalf of the Ukrainian side. The State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control was represented at the meeting by its Deputy Head Volodymyr Korolenko. A significant part of the issues was devoted to the development of new technologies and pharmaceutical education, in particular, seminars at the Ukrainian Pharmaceutical Quality Institute, which is managed by the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control.

The meeting is aimed at strengthening bilateral trade relations, expanding opportunities for export and import of pharmaceutical products, and promoting joint projects in the healthcare sector.

Summarizing the meeting results, the working group members identified «points of contact» and agreed to maintain working contacts.
