The State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control had participated in a webinar organized by the World Health Organization in partnership with the Swiss regulatory authority (Swissmedic)

The State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control had participated in a webinar «Regulatory training course at Swissmedic – A peer learning event» organized by the WHO in partnership with the Swissmedic, from 2 to 6 November 2020.

Such courses are part of the WHO’s program to improve its member states’ regulatory systems.

Swissmedic shared its experience in the organization of the regulatory system in Switzerland, implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and  challenges faced by authority during the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

The workshop is partly conducted in three parallel modules:

  • Marketing authorisation
  • Market surveillance/pharmacovigilance
  • Quality management system/GMP inspection
