The State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control signed Memorandum of Cooperation with the Ukrainian Federation of Professional Medical Associations

The State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control signed Memorandum of Cooperation with the Public Union “Ukrainian Federation of Professional Medical Associations”.

The document was signed in order to unite efforts for the development of the healthcare sector of Ukraine, to provide the population with high-quality, effective and safe medicines and medical devices, as well as to promote the continuous professional development of medical workers.

Memorandum defines the main domains of cooperation between the parties in the field of organization and implementation of joint measures aimed at the development of the pharmaceutical industry, improvement of the system of regulation of medicines and medical devices’ circulation, as well as the introduction of modern international approaches in the field of healthcare.

Specifically, the parties concurred on the exchange of expertise in the implementation  of international practices, the organization of collaborative working meetings, scientific and practical conferences, seminars, training programs, and workshops. Additionally, they committed to enhance analytical, educational, and scientific capabilities in designated areas of cooperation.

As part of the Memorandum’s implementation, it is anticipated that collaborative scientific research will be conducted, communication events will be organized, and activities will be coordinated within working groups, commissions, and advisory bodies. Additionally, programs will be developed and implemented to promote contemporary advancements in the healthcare sector.

The signing of the document represents a significant advancement in strengthening of the collaboration among scientific community, governmental entities, and professional medical associations. This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency of Ukraine’s healthcare system, advance medical science, and integrate the best international practices for the benefit of patients and medical community.
