Working meeting with the territorial bodies of the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control

A working meeting with the territorial bodies of the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Head of the SMDC of Ukraine Taras Pronin in online format.

The event was attended by the representatives of the Department of Medicines and Blood Quality Control, as well as the Department of Wholesale and Retail Trade of Medicines of the SMDC of Ukraine.

During the meeting, current issues related to the implementation of state supervision (control) measures for compliance with the requirements of the Licensing Conditions, the conduction of pre-licensing inspections, the placement of registration materials in the EAIS (Single Automated Information System), the selection of samples of medicines and other practical aspects of the work of territorial bodies were discussed.

Special attention was paid to the need for ensuring unified approaches to the implementation of state policy in the field of medicines quality control and licensing of economic activities, as well as to strengthen interaction between the central apparatus of the SMDC of Ukraine and its territorial bodies.

Within the meeting, the representatives of the structural departments of the SMDC of Ukraine provided answers to topical issues arising during the practical application of the requirements of the legislation and discussed further mechanisms for coordinating work.
