Biopatid: the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control’s representative gave an interview to the ‘TSN’ television channel’s reporter

The State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control has received a request from the ‘TSN’ television channel regarding the ‘illegal manufacture and sale of the counterfeit slimming product “Biopatid”’, as reported by law enforcement agencies in recent days.

Yuliia Zarudska, Head of Medicines and Blood Quality Control Department, answered some questions from ‘TSN’ special correspondent Valentyna Dobrota and spoke about the role of the SMDC in regulating the circulation of medicines in Ukraine, the specific features and differences between the circulation of medicines and cosmetics, ways to avoid purchasing counterfeit products, and the options available to consumers for checking the status and legality of a particular product.
