Conference «European Integration of Ukraine Healthcare»

The State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control participated in one of the most important conferences in the medical sphere of our country – “European Integration of Ukraine: Healthcare”, organized by the Ministry of Health together with the European Union, as well as with the support of the EU project «Support to Ukraine for Developing a Modern Public Health System», Expertise France, the World Health Organization and other partners.

During the event, various issues were discussed concerning the most effective ways to integrate the Ukrainian medical sector, including pharmaceuticals, into the European healthcare system.

On the one hand, the implementation of European standards in our country, as well as the practices of the world’s leading countries, can improve the sustainability and quality of our healthcare sector. On the other hand, the unique Ukrainian experience in ensuring reliable access to quality medicines, as well as in other areas, is invaluable—an expertise recently acquired by Ukrainian specialists working under extremely challenging conditions.

Pharmaceuticals is one of the four key areas in which European standards are currently being implemented. Significant efforts are also being made to extend the digitalization of the pharmaceutical sector and create a unified medical space.
