Course Barrier-free Literacy

A new educational course  Barrier-free Literacy which was developed at the initiative of  First Lady Olena Zelenksa in partnership with the Presidential Advisor-Commissioner on Barrier-free issues, the Barrier-Free civil society organization, representatives of civil society, and experts.

The educational course covers the basic principles of a barrier-free environment based on examples from everyday life.

Somettimes, due to the existing barriers, a person is forced to give up dreams, desires and aspirations, in particular, such barriers can be gender, age, the presence of stereotypes and prejudices, the lack of construction and premises, etc. Therefore, this course will be one of the steps for changing communication approaches and achieving the barrier-free consciousness, a guide to recognizing and thus removal barriers.
